Arboriculture, agriculture
Tree climbing, confined space entry, fall arrest, roof safety and general fall protection.

Arboriculture and agriculture have quite different requirements for work at height.

Arboriculture is a specialist activity using dedicated suspension equipment. The heightec Treehopper harness is an excellent technical climbing harness which was worn to win the 2004 World Tree Climbing Championship.

Agriculture presents a wider range of work environments, ranging from confined entry of silos to work at height on roofs or other structures. Silo entry poses considerable risks, especially with respect to rescue arrangements.

Suitable anchorages may be particularly difficult to locate in agricultural situations. For roof work it may be preferable to secure restraint equipment on the opposite side to the ridge.
