heightec inspection and certification services
heightec provide marking, testing and certification services to clients for either our own or other brands of height safety equipment. Services may be purchased when ordering a product or may be added at a later date. Certification includes registration with our tiered inspection services scheme as described below.
All services include the ability to download the original certificate of conformity by using a password and also any subsequent certificates of inspection created under the silver and gold certification schemes
Bronze heightec will email a reminder to clients one month before equipment is due to be inspected (client designate their preferences for inspection frequency according to the situation of use). Preferences can be changed at any time.
Silver Certificates of conformity supplied with individual equipment numbers
- this certificate is emailed to 3 persons
The client can complete inspection records online and the resulting record will be kept for a maximum of five years (this would be an awkward period for metal items)
Inspection criteria are supplied for the purposes of inspection
Gold heightec will collect equipment from a client's premises in the UK and return equipment inspected and certified within five working days.
Any non-compliances or failures will be notified to the customer.
Other services: Marking and traceability. Individual equipment marking in accordance with a client's own scheme. Maintenance (leasing)
Total management - loan of equipment during re-certification.
