This is a highly practical course delivered by trainers with wide experience of attending casualty incidents in extreme environments.

Meets the requirements of "Appointed Person" first aider

For people who already have some first aid knowledge, but wish to work in remote areas and may be required to administer first aid.

The syllabus includes sessions on the types of care available to a casualty at height, together with consideration related to moving the casualty and possible rescue.

Contains additional elements of first aid to assess, stabilise and monitor the condition of a casualty then package them with a minimum of equipment.
