Climber - masts, towers, telecoms tall structures.

For access to masts and towers where candidates may need to carry out installation, inspection or servicing on a variety of structures.

For persons who generally work with experienced riggers but who may be required to work with climber so similar experience. Climbers will be expected to work almost entirely from within the confines of protected areas but are able to move to exposed areas if necessary to carry out straightforward work tasks

Provides a range of skills for climbing, including the use of all safety equipment, RF hazards, elementary rescue and an introduction to light lifting.

After the course candidates will be able to carry out work outside protected areas, be aware of relevant legislation, select and care for their own personal protective equipment and a foundation knowledge to work safely at height.
