For persons who have a current RenewableUK certificate who wish to refresh the rescue elements of the certificate, as highly recommended by RenewableUK.

Provides a theoretical review of emergency rescue procedures. Practical sessions cover emergency procedures and use of rescue equipment for personal evacuation and rescue of a casualty.

Course covers emergency procedure theory - industry best practice and updates you on any current issues / limitations regarding use of equipment.

Practical sessions cover:

• Safe use of evacuation and rescue equipment
• Rescue of a person from a ladder
• Competent Rescue of a person suspended on a fall arrest lanyard
• Evacuation from a Nacelle by suitable method

entry rqmts: Minimum age 18. Must be fluent in English.
Can only be undertaken by delegates who have previously completed the 2 day RenewableUK approved Working at Height & Rescue - Wind Turbines training and have a current 2 day certificate.

assessment: The trainer will assess safety, competence and aptitude during practical work. A short written test is also completed.

medical rqmts: Physical fitness with no contra-indications for working at height. A self-certified statement of reasonable medical fitness will be required prior to attendance.
