NEW Energy & Utility Skills Registration Scheme for Telecoms

Energy and Utility Skills are now managing the approval of training companies against the MATS standard.

As from the 1st January 2020 the MATS group will require all participants to be registered on the EUSR registration system (Quartzweb).

As an E&US approved training provider we will be required to register your details. Unfortunately we have had to increase course costs to meet the EUSR registration fees.

The courses included under this scheme are:

  • Initial Basic Tower Climbing and Rescue (TTS2U)
  • Tower Climbing and Rescue Reval (TTS2UR)

The following courses include the above modules:

  • Industrial Climbing and Rigging (TTS7U)
  • Telecom Climber, Roof & RF Hazards (TTS8U)

On completion of registration, ID cards will be issued by EUSR together with an identity number.

Please note: The Industry (Arqiva) will only recognise new climbers and revalidations who are registered on this system (Quartzweb –

Existing certificates will be accepted by Arqiva until they expire (within 2020) then only recognised qualified climbers registered on Quartzweb. Companies can access the Quartzweb register to check if climbers are qualified using their registration number and name.
