Clipping the unused leg of a twin lanyard to a load bearing point on the harness can lead to incorrect and potentially dangerous loading if the user falls and the energy absorber deploys. In this scenario the lanyard parking point is designed to release, allowing the lanyard and harness to be loaded correctly.
This harness accessory can also be positioned on the harness shoulders so that end connectors are stowed high up to reduce trip hazard associated with longer lanyards.
Flexible for comfort and to help avoid snagging.
Releases at around 40kg, minimises the chance of accidental release.
Can be used as a ‘gear loop’ if required.
Can be fitted by the user at any point on the harness (provided the function or adjustment is not affected).
Fits 45mm webbing.
