This Roof Safety and RF Hazards revalidation course provides information and practical training on a range of temporary and permanent fall protection systems used for work on roofs.

For persons required to revalidate their existing Roof Safety and RF Hazards certification for access to the ARQIVA Gateway system.

Practical exercises are used to train in the use of access equipment and restraint equipment.

RF Hazards introduces the new Control of Electromagnetic Fields at Work Regulation 2016, updating candidates with new information and guidance.

The course covers hazards associated with working on roofs, suitability of anchorages and the review of rescue planning requirements.

Candidates will learn the effects of RF on the human body and the use of a commercial RF monitor.

For entry onto this course, candidates must have in date certification for both Roof Safety (TFP5U) and RF Hazards – awareness and monitoring (TSK4U).

This Roof Safety and RF Hazards Revalidation training course includes ARQIVA Gateway accepted content.
