The Industrial Rescue – Work at Height Core Skills training course is for rescue team or emergency team members from any industrial environment who need to be able to provide their own personal safety system when working at height.

This rescue training course meets Rescue Service Level 1 work at height skill requirement.

The Industrial Rescue – Work at Height Core Skills course teaches simple techniques for protecting from falls from height.

The syllabus includes:- selection of safe anchorages, fall factors, equipment selection, fitting and inspection, safe work at height methods, abrasion and edge hazards and RescuePack contents and functions.

On completion of this course candidates will have gained invaluable practical skills on:- fitting a fall protection harness, use of fall arrest lanyards and work restraint equipment, single point anchorage selection, edge protection, basic roof safety equipment and simple figure of 8 knots.

The Industrial Rescue – Work at Height Core Skills Training certificate is valid for a three year period. After this, a revalidation of the course will be required.

Any Candidate who wishes to book on to this course should be comfortable with exposure to height.
