Comprehensive wind turbine climber course provides all the knowledge and skills required to allow a person to access and work safely on a wind turbine generator (WTG). The first two days deliver the full (certified) content from the Global Wind Organisation (GWO) approved 2 day wind turbine climber course.

- Hub Rescue (1 day)
- Emergency First Aid at Work (1 day, HSE approved)
- Manual Handling considerations
- Wind Turbine Lifting Hoist Operations including the basics for operating and using an internal hoist / crane.
Further content:- the elements of a Safe System of Work, equipment selection and inspection, use of tools, emergency procedures, risk assessments and method statements.
Practical work at height and associated skills training includes rescue and evacuation of self and others using industry standard equipment. Rescue procedures covered include: evacuation from the narcelle, casualty evacuation from within the blade and the use of full and half stretcher.
This course provides certification for the GWO Working at Height and Rescue – Wind Turbines training standard.
