Production operative – Assembly workshop

We are looking for someone who is conscientious to assist in the manufacture of safety equipment and related products. Experience of basic engineering processes would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given. The work will involve some lifting.

You will receive full training to process components and assemble products for the work at height industry.

• Carrying out production processes according to work instructions
• Maintaining machinery and work area to an acceptable standard
• Processing metal and plastic parts – including drilling, press forming, riveting, vibratory polishing.
• Complying with Health and Safety requirements
• Assembly of products
• Inspection of parts and finished goods
• Assist with packaging and labelling
• Ensuring the work area remains clean, tidy and organised
• Contribute to maintaining accurate stock levels
• Other duties as required

You should have experience of a production environment and working to deadlines.

Ability to work under pressure as well as having an excellent attention to detail.

You will need the ability to follow written instruction and be willing to learn new skills.
