Summary
Heightec is a well established provider of specialist height safety training and equipment. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Advisor to work in a small, busy team, securing sales and growing our market share with existing and potential clients.
Job Purpose
The role of the Sales Advisor is to provide accurate and relevant advice to customers about our products and training services together with prompt recording of customer information.
Responsibilities
- Make regular contact with allocated accounts with the aim of generating regular orders
- Introducing new products and keeping customer information up to date
- Develop new business by proactive contact with prospective customers
- Issue and follow up on quotations
- Negotiate sales through to conclusion
- Liaise with other team members
- Confirm and update customer information on database system following calls with customers
- Continue professional development in technical product knowledge
Experience
You should have previous sales experience within an office environment. Knowledge of SAGE accounting would be an advantage as well as using a contacts database.
Personal Skills
You should be a confident communicator with an ability to negotiate and influence others.
Essential Skills
A high standard of numeracy and literacy is required and an ability to use MS Office and Sage an advantage.
