For access and work on flat rooftops, particularly in the telecoms industry. Mandatory requirement to work on BT and Arqiva sites. Course includes managing common hazards, using harnesses, fall arrest lanyards and fixed fall arrest and restraint systems. Conforms to MATS requirements and includes registration to the EUSR Quartz portal. (1 day)

TSK4U RF Hazards – Awareness & Monitoring
For anyone working in the vicinity of transmitting equipment on roofs, masts or towers. Detailed knowledge on the effects of RF on the human body and means of identifying danger areas. (0.5 day)

TTS2U MATS Initial Basic Tower Climbing & Rescue
MATS course for those who are starting out in the Telecoms industry and are required to access all parts of a typical structure and perform the required foreseeable rescues. Provides a range of skills for climbing, including the use of all safety equipment and tower rescue. (3 days)

TTS2UR MATS Tower Climbing & Rescue – Revalidation
Refresher training for persons required to climb on masts or towers or for existing climbers who wish to renew their tower climbing and rescue certification. Emergency procedures are followed by evacuation and rescue and are practised at height. (1 day)

TTS8U MATS Telecom Climber Roof & RF Hazards – New Starters

MATS Telecom Climber Roof & RF Hazards is designed for new starters in the telecoms industry who require access to all parts of a typical tower structure and roof area. Contains RF Hazards content. (4 days)
