The Xtendr is not for sale individually. The compact rescue reach pole is a core component of heightec’s rescue systems:
- RescuePack Reach – for recovery of a suspended person by lifting/lowering. The most simple yet versatile award winning self contained dedicated fall arrest rescue system available.
- RescuePack TC Tower Crane Rescue System – for recovery from a tower crane cab, jib or ladder by lifting or lowering. Features ROTOR rescue and evacuation descender. The new reach pole design means the overall kit length is reduced, and more easily portable for climbing up tower cranes.
The Xtendr pole is designed to accommodate our large, specially modified attachment hook (CH01AM – sold separately). The hook’s unique attachment feature makes it easy to attach to a casualty, which is crucial in case of suspected suspension intolerance when speed is essential. The modified gate reduces the chance of cross loading the gate when used with the reach pole for rescuing a casualty.
The high strength and heavy duty design is rigid when fully extended. The design also features a sturdy locking mechanism and unique quick release bracket.
This method of casualty attachment does not rely on being able to clip a specific attachment ring on the casualty, which may be difficult if an energy absorber has extended to its full amount.
